ABOUT CENTRAL POINT CHRISTIAN CHURCH
Central Point Christian Church is a rural community church established in 1974. While not belonging to any particular denomination, CPCC is affiliated with over 5,000 Christian churches and churches of Christ across the nation and around the world. We strive to use the Bible as our guide and the early church as our pattern. At CPCC, our congregation aims to courageously represent the kingdom of God and to encourage and admonish each other to mutual edification and Christ-likeness. We take seriously the Scriptures, Prayers and the Call to "do justice, love mercy and walk humbly before God" (Micah 3:8). We also endeavor to lend our individual and organized aid and support to all moral and civic betterment.
Since 2009, Scott Taylor has been preacher and adult Sunday School teacher at CPCC. Scott is a 1984 graduate of Mid Atlantic Christian University. In that same year, he was ordained into the ministry and married the former Valeria Herndon. They have four children.
CPCC provides a Sunday Bible School service beginning at 10:00 AM, followed by a Worship Service at 11:00 AM. Fellowship meals are held quarterly following the Sunday church services. Every Sunday, we remember Christ's death on the cross for our sins, and renew the vow we made to Him in our immersion, by observing the Lord's Supper.
We hope you will be our guest this Sunday. We welcome you in joy and Christian love and trust that you will find warm fellowship in our midst as we worship God together.
